Personal Statement
Hiroyuki Daida, M.D., Ph.D., is a cardiologist with over 40 years of experience as both a practitioner and researcher. After graduating from the Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine, he joined the Mayo Clinic in the USA
as a visiting clinician and scientist. His research has focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of coronary artery disease, atherosclerosis. Prof. Daida's current interests include telemedicine, telerehabilitation, and the application of generative
AI and machine learning to treat and manage chronic diseases. He is a member of the American Heart Association Council on Clinical Cardiology, a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Additionally,
he is an honorary member of The Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, The Japanese Circulation Society, the Japanese College of Cardiology, and several other esteemed medical societies.
