At Juntendo University, our strength lies in a vast and comprehensive collection of health, medical, and sports data accumulated over decades. By harnessing this rich data, we have been able to expand our research and educational initiatives in meaningful
ways. In 2023, we launched the Faculty of Health Data Science to cultivate experts proficient in AI and data science. Now, in April 2025, we are excited to introduce the Graduate School of Health Data Science, which will adopt a holistic approach
to health—not only within medical and clinical contexts but also in the everyday lives and broader social activities of people. Our mission is to train high-level information specialists capable of analyzing big data and leveraging evidence-based science
to solve complex challenges. Additionally, we are committed to nurturing educators and researchers who can generate new insights and drive positive societal impact through groundbreaking research.

The Doctoral Program (the second phase) delves deeper into data analytics, computer science, and health data science.
